Sexual Harassment: Awareness & Prevention
This training helps to define and prevent sexual harassment in the workplace. It heightens employee awareness, encourages individuals to examine their own behavior in a non-threatening way, differentiates between what is appropriate and what is not appropriate, and identifies ways to discourage harassment. There are two versions of this seminar; an employee presentation, and a supervisor/management presentation. Typically, a discussion of organizational policy is included.

Violence in the Workplace
This seminar creates an awareness of the potential for violence in the workplace. Areas discussed include: how aggressive and violent situations arise; recognizing the early warning signs of a potentially violent situation; the stages of the crisis cycle; strategies to mitigate threatening situations; how to handle an incident that becomes violent- including post-incident needs such as debriefing services. An overall goal of the program is to assist organizations in engaging in preventative crisis management versus reactive crisis management. This seminar can be tailored to increase awareness for employees, or to address management concerns. A discussion of organizational policy can be included.

Workplace Diversity
This presentation offers an opportunity to examine the various lenses through which we see cultural differences and how these lenses affect our ability to work in a multicultural environment. The seminar promotes awareness of the effects that culturally insensitive speech and behavior can have on colleagues as well as an organization. Time is devoted to include discussion of effective techniques to interrupt culturally insensitive behavior.

Communication & Conflict Resolution
This seminar attempts to increase effective communication and enhance conflict resolution skills. Participants will discuss active listening techniques and blocks to communication as well as practice listening skills with one another. Participants will also discuss the five ways of dealing with conflict and learn which are the most successful.
